Based in Italy, Nanogen Advanced Diagnostics (NAD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Elitech Group. NAD has been active as a supplier of advanced diagnostic products since the early 1990s when it began commercializing molecular diagnostic reagents.
From that time, NAD has been developing and marketing a wide diagnostic products range based on Polymerase Chain Reaction for the detection of human infective agents and human genetic alterations associated with different pathologies.
ISO certified since 1998, NAD has been known for the quality and reliability of its products since the early phases of its debut on the market. As an IVD producer, today NAD is ISO 13485 certified, applying the highest quality standards to product design, production and quality control processes.
From December 2003 on, all the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs) marketed in the European Union (EU) must bear the CE Mark, and companies that market products in the EU must have a Authorized Representative based in Europe. The purpose of this EU Directive is to ensure that only safe and functional diagnostic products are sold in the European market, with clearly outlined regulations regarding the design, manufacturing, import and marketing of diagnostic kits.
All NAD products are in keeping with the European Directive 98/79/EC.
Through the quality of its products, NAD has gained a leading position on the Molecular Diagnostic market.
